Word In Action Outreach UK (WIAO UK) is a non-profit making non-denominational voluntary Christian organisation that supports the work of Word in Action Outreach in Rajahmundry and Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, South India (WIAO). WIAO UK is UK Registered Charity No. 1120131.
We care for 45 lepers and their children and many elderly abandoned widows. We give free medical care to the poor, help with disaster relief in times of need, and give free food and clothing to many needy people.
We also run a free six month residential course at WIAO Living Waters Bible College to train and equip the pastors and leaders of the future.
Pastor Joseph Babu, with his Board, is responsible for the organisation in India. WIAO has been a registered Charity with the Indian Government since 2002. Pastor Joseph has been a pastor for 12 years since the Lord called him from his well-paid job with good prospects to work among the poor and needy. The plight of the many street children and the poor dying on the roadsides touched his heart. Joseph lives at the WIAO orphanage in Rajahmundry with ninety nine orphan children and other support staff.
